After the launch of Samsung’s main flagship series (Galaxy S22 Series), the main target of Samsung would be the new Galaxy A 2022 series. The company is already working on many new models of the A-series (as shown by leaks and rumors), and we can expect the actual launch soon.
This morning, the full-body appearance of the upcoming Galaxy A53 5G has been revealed (thanks to TENAA Certification), through which we can observe the changes in this successor model of Galaxy A52. Overall, it seems that the design and basic internal specs of Galaxy A53 5G remain unchanged.
Some basic specifications of Galaxy A53 5G are following:
- 6.46 inches AMOLED Display with Full-HD+ resolution (2400*1080p)
- Dimensions: 5×74.7×8.1(mm), Weight: 190(g)
- 2.0GHz/2.4GHz Chipset Frequency (Exynos 1200)
- 4860mAh Single Cell Battery (with 15W charging, revealed by 3C Certification)
- Back Camera: 64MP+12MP+5MP+5MP and Front 32MP Lens
- In-display fingerprint scanner
- Storage Option: 8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB Storage
The front side and backside are the same as the Galaxy A52’s body. On the front side, we still got the AMOLED Display having the same punch-hole diameter. It is worth mentioning that the dimensions show that the device is slightly smaller and slimmer than the Galaxy A52 5G.
While on the backside, the rectangle-shaped camera module consists of 4 Lenses (primary 64MP lens) and 1 LED Flash. The Certification mentions that there are only three cameras on the back and two lenses on the front which seems a mistake or a glitch from the TENAA certification site.
As per previous news, the new Galaxy A53 5G will feature the all-new Exynos 1200 5G chipset, which would feature a total of eight cores (in which two large cores are clocked @2.4GHz and six energy-efficient cores are clocked @2.0GHz). The performance is expected to be near the Snapdragon 778G chipset.
It is currently expected that the new Galaxy A 2022 series will be launched before the end of the 1st quarter of 2022.
