In the upcoming days, Samsung will most likely introduce the new 2022 models of its Galaxy A Series. Even the information of many of these devices got leaked through different certification sites in the past few weeks. Today, another major leak of the most popular device has been revealed.
This morning, the upcoming Galaxy A53 5G has been listed on 3C Certification with model number SM-A5360, which shows that the device is the Chinese 5G variant. Moreover, the certification mentioned that the device would feature the old 15W charging technology, which is being used since Galaxy A 2019 series.
The new Galaxy A53 5G would come with Samsung’s 15W EP-TA200 charger, which supports charging at the following modes: 15W (9V/1.67A) and 10W (5V/2A). Furthermore, the applicant for this certification is Samsung (China) Investment Company Limited.
As per previous info, it is expected that the new Galaxy A53 5G would remain the same as its predecessor in terms of design. However, we would see “Exynos 1200,” the brand new 5G chipset powering the smartphone. The chipset was previously spotted on Geekbench with a higher score relatively near the Snapdragon 778G.
The chipset would feature two large performance cores ([email protected] 2.4GHz) and six power-efficient cores (clocked @2.0GHz). Except this, the smartphone is expected to feature the same old quad-camera setup, the same old AMOLED Display with a screen integrated fingerprint scanner.
As per the expected timeline, the new Galaxy A53 5G is scheduled to be launched in the first quarter of 2022.
