Only one day is now left in the launch of Xiaomi’s next-generation flagship series, the Xiaomi 12 series, but the leaks and rumors are still on the top. The first appearance of the new flagship model recently got surfaced on the internet.
Yesterday, the Weibo blogger @Haobo Classmates revealed two images of Mi 12 (most probably standard version) in which the device’s backside design can be appropriately observed. As can be seen, the new Mi 12 features a newly designed camera module in which a total of three lenses have been placed.
Unlike the previous Xiaomi Mi 11, the new Xiaomi 12 features a rectangle-shaped camera module and has a large-sized 50MP (Sony IMX766 lens) sensor on the top. The specifications of the other two lenses are currently unknown. Moreover, observing the backside’s surface nearly seems that the texture is very smooth, like leather’s surface. This would also make sure the premium handling of the device.
As reported previously, the new Mi 12 series will feature an AMOLED Display size around 6.28 inches having Full-HD+ resolution, 419-pixel density, and 120Hz refresh rate. Moreover, the all-new Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset with the all-new Cortex-X2 Super Core would be the main highlight of this flagship series.
In terms of battery configuration, the standard Xiaomi 12 will feature a 4500mAh battery cell with 67W fast charging, while the Pro version will feature a larger 5000mAh battery cell having 120W super-fast charging.
The pricing and storage variants are currently not revealed, and we will be unveiled at tomorrow’s event.
